Technical specifications

Our wooden houses are top quality as they are built using Siberian pine. We carefully select thick, straight pieces of wood so that assembly is conducted using the least amount of joints possible.  These pieces are treated against termites, blue-stain and rot using an EC approved substance called Sinesto B.

1. Construction.

A concrete slab is used as the foundation. The interior and exterior walls are built using 45 mm, 70 mm or 92 mm blocks, or 170 mm thick round trunks. The blocks are linked together using screws from top to bottom.

2. Flooring.

The floor is built using solid wood beams and completely covered with 32 mm thick wooden siding as used in parquet.  It is highly polished and painted with three coats of special floor varnish.

3. Roofing

The roof is comprised of a support frame and wooden boards, waterproofed linings, roofing battens and counter battens. It is covered with metal tiles. Shaped boards are placed under the beams and roll roofing is used for insulation.

4. Windows

Operable awning windows are installed, with double glazing and inside chamber, rubber joints and solid wood exterior frames.  Doors are also solid wood and are equipped with their corresponding open and close system.

5. Water and drainage.

The water, drainage and electricity systems must be constructed in accordance with local technical conditions.

6. Quality of woods used.

All construction is performed using wood which has been dried in chambers at 8% humidity. Insecticides are not used.

7. Durability

These pieces are treated against termites, blue-stain and rot using an EC approved substance called Sinesto B.

8. Regulations

In accordance with regulations in force, no architect’s project is required.  Nor is it necessary to request building permission as these are categorised as prefabricated houses which can be taken apart.  However, as each municipality is responsible for its own town planning regulations, customers should conduct any formalities deemed necessary to ensure compliance with the same.
